At Hyatt Lassaline, you will be exposed to all facets of public accounting, not simply audits or sections of audits. Your work experience, while a student, will range from handling an entire file within the first few months of work, to providing assurance services as a team member on larger assignments, preparing individual and corporate tax returns, trust returns, and providing tax and advisory services.

As a student articling at our firm, you are given more opportunity for involvement and participation in the "whole picture" on assignments, which is an integral part of learning not only to improve your job performance but also for the UFE.

We provide ongoing mentoring and training for students, enabling you to succeed at each level of the CA program. Everything that you learn with us is directly applicable towards your studies and will help you prepare for your final exam. We train you in a set of marketable skills that will ensure your success.

We also strive to ensure that our students enjoy a balance between their work experience, their ongoing studies and their personal life away from accounting. We support our students by monitoring overtime hours during peak times ensuring workload is balanced. We provide paid study time and when required, unpaid study time, to help our students prepare for exams.
